Or, if you want to fight her legit, Chlorophyte shot bow + holy arrows spread her health real quick.Įmpress of Light: big arena with platforms. 1.4 golem has some tricks, but can be beaten relatively okay as long as you watch the head and don’t stand still. Plantera: build BIG box in jungle, place platforms, leave area below bottom platform empty so her bouncing spiny balls can bounce in peace. If you are in 1.4, you can get a boat mount from the Flying Dutchman that makes this boss trivially easy. Skeletron prime: the only arguable one, by this is just skeletron but with lasers and also you have wings so don’t die as easily. The twins: gravitation potions + hallowed repeater. Leave top of box open so you can dodge if things get dicey. Then you just run and throw beenades behind you.ĭestroyer: build box in sky. Wall of Flesh: Everyone knows to build a hell bridge. In expert mode you have the daunting task of playing spot the difference. just pierce the minions with jesters arrows then slap the brain until it dies. Make sure to add some solid blocks to the rows of platforms in expert mode to make shields for the vile spit.īoC: this is a joke right? Like you can’t be struggling with this. Once he starts expect mode dashing, run in a single direction until he stops, then quickly get to the other side of him to get ready to run the other way.ĮoW: a few platforms and a stack of jester’s arrows. When he attacks, jump over him or drop down a platform to get around it. King Slime: duh, just use a rope I’m 1.3, or just use a big platform in 1.4Įye: two platforms roughly 500 blocks across. At least for skeletron prime you have wings to fly away from his garbage movement patterns. But his REGULAR MOVEMENT PATTERN makes him the hardest boss to beat in the entire game. But then he just decides to drift into melee when suddenly “OH! I feel like initiating my stun-lock spin off that’s okay with you” as he rams himself into my poor ranger at Mach 10. The head spin attack is no joke when it comes to damage, either. Further in the direction I just lunged in even though it is directly away from the other two parts of the boss? WHY NOT! Up and to the left for no reason? Go on ahead. ![]() ![]() His hands just sort of lunge towards you, which is easy enough to dodge, but then they just float in whatever direction they feel like. Why does he randomly drift towards me? His head and hands are arranged in such a way to make it very challenging to jump through, and he isn’t even attacking, this is just him moving to a new spot. There is no other boss in the game (other than skeletron prime) that moves in such a counter intuitive way. But for a boss that’s main focus is swinging his hands at you, then charging with his head, he does an awful lot of drifting around aimlessly. ![]() He floats, he swings, and his contact damage is to be avoided at all costs. For a new player, skeletron looks like any other boss. Skeletron’s attack pattern is so whacky and stupid. It may take a few tries, but you won’t get stuck on any bosses (other than maybe moonlord because you get tired of waiting a minute just for it to spawn).īut here is the thing. However, I am referring to when you have the gear that you should have before fighting skeletron.Īs with all bosses, their normal mode version isn’t too bad. Obviously, with end game gear, you can melt skeletron in seconds (correction, one singular second).
